The UK’s leading provider of lamp and bulb recycling solutions is set to exhibit at RWM 2013.
Balcan Engineering will be on stand 19S29-R28, demonstrating the latest developments to its market-leading range of bespoke recycling equipment, including the Balcan Lamp Crusher.
Minimising all types of commonly used lamps, including straight fluorescent, u-tube, HID and compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL), the unit can crush up to 1,000 lamps per hour.
Featuring an active carbon filter, the crusher reduces dust to five microns and eliminates mercury vapour, ensuring that only clean air is released into the atmosphere.
Fabricated from stainless steel, the unit can be integrated into a complete recycling line, or specified as a stand-alone unit.
Visitors to the show, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham between 10th and 12th September, will also have the chance to talk to the Balcan team about its nationwide collection and lamp recycling services.
“Balcan Engineering provides the complete solution, from spent bulb storage and collection to crushing, recycling and reuse, ” commented Julian Rinfret, Managing Director of Balcan Engineering.
“With over 30 years of recycling heritage, Balcan has helped thousands of companies across the country to effectively recycle spent lamps, improve environmental credentials and meet waste disposal regulations.
“We can’t wait to exhibit at this year’s show and talk to even more companies about our services and equipment,” added Julian.
